Your first choice is a 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel I6, which produces 370 horsepower and 850 lbs of torque. You'll also be able to tow 19,680 pounds with this engine. Your other option is a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which will produce 410 horsepower--the best in its class. If you go for the gasoline powered V8, you'll miss out on some towing power, but it still manages an impressive 17,540 pound capability. To improve performance, Ram has added a few features which make towing a breeze.
